This is the spectacular moment two loyal dogs team up to ward off a couple of frightening lions.

CCTV footage from Gujarat, India shows the big cats run up to a home’s gate and attack two small guard dogs in a fierce late night battle.

    I don't think they fully understand how bad they would loose that fight!! 🦁🥊🐶

  15. Obviously the owner knew that matter what dog he decided to own, non of them would stand a chance against these lions and other big cats.
    I think he knew these dogs had no fear and would go to the fence and bark like crazy.
    And I'm guessing they have a particularly loud bark that makes for the best alarm system.
    Even the dogs running to them gets the lions attention long enough to keep them from running all around figuring out a way to get in and now the owner knows it's not a human threat and exactly what kind of non human threat it is and take appropriate actions.
    Though obviously he needs to strengthen that fence asap.
    That may be another way the owner given enough time to protect himself and family.
    If those lions get in God forbid, those overly brave dogs will attack the lions which the lions will dispose of them in seconds.
    But the lions stop, take quick action and preventing them from going right straight in
    Even 5 or 10 seconds could be life or death.
    And many predators no matter how easy the kill instinctively guard their prize from others which is more time.
    Sometimes they can't help themselves and will eat them first. A little snack bemral. fore the main meal.
    Another minute or two.
    No expert here, just trying to make educated guesses.
    I could be completely wrong.
    But wrong or right, I'd much rather prefer he get a stronger fence.
    Those alarm systems are not cheap.
    They're kinda cute too.

  17. Those dogs are tough behind that fence. Would have been a different experience if that gate flew open. Of the apex predators that have go Gladiator style LIONS rank #3 of that list. Remember that.
