Wasn’t that the checkpoint last year where 2 Ukrainian Humvees were placed there later after it was taken back by ruZZia and trophy displayed them ? The damage to the Humvees and the crater they were in did not match up.

I won’t judge the border guards surrendering. When a tank rolls up and fires repeatedly into your office and you have nothing but rifles to defend yourself, well, what are you going to do?

I watched it later on Ukrainian TV and as result of this battle 6 to 9 Russians are now in hell. Bodies were shown blurred.
These are the lucky ones, many were killed inside their bunkers.

The US Army units that were in the Battle of the Bulge, were there because it was a ‘quiet sector’.
These guys no doubt were told the same.
