How Ukraine Pulled off a Surprise Invasion of Russia | WSJ
Ukraine took control of hundreds of square miles of Russian territory, captured hundreds of prisoners and destroyed the Kremlin’s initial reinforcements. The offensive took place in the border region of Kursk, which sits on a stretch of some 300 miles of the Ukraine-Russia border. The attack sparked a mass evacuation and an angry response from President Vladimir Putin.

you kick the bear you going to get mauled
More like 18 year old boys , Russian soldiers 99 % of times dont surrender..
If only Republicans hadn't held up aid for six months. How many thousands of Ukrainians had to die for that purely political obstructionist act?
This might be a trap by Russia.
The answer is Putin's absolute incompetence.
How they manage? Simply because USA orchestrated this all and they do what they are told to do with foreign NATO army and American ammunition ‼️This is WAR BETWEEN AMERICA AND RUSSIA under ukrainien name ‼️‼️‼️‼️
👍👍👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯💯💯
Lemme guess…with billions of American dollars and equipment
With American weapons? Did they tell Biden they would use our weapons? Not right
They needed to really open another front. Russia won't return land they have stolen by the invasion they started in Crimea in 2014. Obama did nothing in response "Former President Obama on Thursday defended his response to Russia’s 2014 annexation of Crimea, saying that circumstances were different then compared to Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine last year."
The incursion was a failed attempt to take over the Kursk power plant. They are retreating now with many being killed.
I'm confused. I thought we were sending money and arms to Ukraine for defense. Now we're a part of Ukraine's invasion of Russia. We're obviously giving Ukraine more weapons and money then needed to defend their borders considering they're using them in an offensive manner. Now we're supporting Ukraines invasion. Let's hope that Putin doesn't decide to use weapons of Mass destruction against Ukraine. I don't understand why the US isn't pressuring Russia to end this war . Instead it appears we're behind expanding it
NO WAR! PEACE ONLY!
"Its okay to lose the battle, to win the war" Vladmir Putin
What a joke! Bidens agenda.
Крым всегда будет частью Украины
Россия должна уйти сегодня

Russian Army solidifies its position as 2nd best…
2nd best army in Ukraine, and now 2nd best army in Russia! 🤣😂
Dear Wall Street Journal: It's SUJA, use some common sense.
Russian language uses a combination of letters D and ZH(pronounced as 's' in 'pleasure') because they don't have a letter for J….you do. Guess how they spell "Jerky"? You got it – Dzherki.
So yeah, no need for DZH transliteration, it's just their way to adapt to not having a letter J.
I don't trust British journalists when it comes to war news. Can be totally distorted. Ukraine has a lot of pressure from British agencies and looks like they can sacrifice everything just for the media.
WSJ, please keep up with with new information, these is old news already!
