  1. I used a new data source [https://www.fiba.basketball/en/events/mens-olympic-basketball-tournament-paris-2024/games/122608-FRA…](https://www.fiba.basketball/en/events/mens-olympic-basketball-tournament-paris-2024/games/122608-FRA-USA#playByPlay)

    and added:

    * The missed shots (very light colour)
    * The lead tracker (at the bottom)
    * The on-court presence (2 visuals: a thin red line or a thick grey line).

The player being in/out is strange on that web page and a few players’ presence displays wrongly on the chart.

Sorry, no comprehensive legend yet. What do you think? Information overload? Which presence marker do you prefer? The missed point marker is very pale; it’s hard to make it nice for all displays: too dark and it gets too confusing.

I was asked for a graph for the women’s final but have no data source.

This chart was created by a SAS program.

  2. Those 4 threes at the very end. It felt so good to have Steph on my team. Knowing rival fans thinking that it’s not possible for him to keep making insane shots… the chef is always cooking something up

  3. It took me WAY too long to figure out who won the game from the visualization. A color code for the bottom line graph would have jelped a lot
