The latest folly of the billionaire owner of the “X” platform (formerly Twitter) is the vehicle delivered to the bloodthirsty military commander and Putin’s most loyal follower.
In the video, Kadyrov can be seen driving the monstrous vehicle, making a short turn around a building and then stopping and positioning himself with a satisfied expression behind the machine gun with a ribbon of bullets wrapped around his neck. The weapon should have been mounted after the vehicle was delivered. “I express my thanks to Elon Musk, he is obviously the main genius of our time, a specialist, a great man” the leader of the Caucasian republic briefly comments.
The vehicle will soon appear on the battlefields on the border with Ukraine, according to Kadyrov himself: “This cybertruck is full of qualities, and it will be sent to the area of the special military operation”. As a sign of gratitude, Kadyrov invited Musk to visit him in Grozny, the Chechen capital.
The gesture casts new disturbing shadows on Elon Musk’s behavior: the social media magnate, one of the richest men on the planet, has long declared his support for Donald Trump, with whom he had a long conversation broadcast live on “X” a few days ago. I just watched the video with subtitles and he doesn’t say that Elon Musk gifted him the truck. He says “Thanks Elon Musk for this truck.” but that could just mean “thanks for *creating* this truck”. The Cybertruck is publicly available and anyone can buy and ship it.
Until there’s confirmation, I assume this is a publicity stunt by Kadyrov – which seems to be working as planned. He’s probably trying to get a reaction from Musk, which would spread the video even further.
I don’t think we should believe anything that Kadyrov says.
I think the most likely scenario is that he got one from China, via a “scalper”. There’s 0 chance in hell that Musk “gifted him one”, he’s a moron and a dick but he’s not that stupid I would think.
But I do expect Tesla to now take action and to simply “brick” the Cybertruck via a software update. Or just share tracking data with the US government (and Ukraine).

If this is true, which is very likely, he violated US sanctions which:
