You would end up with many athletes from the past in similarly disputed circumstances demanding they get a medal too
Laurie Hernandez was one of my favorite things about the Olympics. She really explains things well without distracting you from the event at hand.
Sure let’s give everyone a medal so they feel good

Laurie was a wonderful announcer. Jordan Chiles is the winner of the sole bronze medal IMO and Romania and Nadia Commenci participated in some very shady shit.
