Things you might not have seen on television part 1 cycling track

I took some pictures, just another view than the main cameras. 1. The venue 2/3. The light show before the start 4. The medal ceremony from the back 5. The volunteers waited for groups from countries, counted down and cheered like we were all leaving the event as winners.

Was it really hot in the venue? On TV it looked like everyone was hot and miserable.
I get the impression that track cycling would be a bigger deal if velodromes didn’t have such low spectator capacities. I’ve seen 5k multiple times for this venue, and 6k once; and it looks less on screen as people are spread out. That number can be compared to others at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_Summer_Olympics#Venues.
I was also reminded again of Velodrome by The Chemical Brothers for London 2012. People who like Tron or Kraftwerk should dig that track. I know there are official songs for the Olympics, but are there any others made over the years that people probably missed?
