Emergency move to ease prison overcrowding activated

Get those that rioted to do community service to clean up the mess they caused. Be far more useful to everyone
It unbelievable what the last government did to this country. Completely unconscionable from the crumbling schools, pandemic fraud to letting the prisons get into this state. I have no idea what the new government could possibly do to begin to fix this.
The fact that the punitive aspect of a sentence is being reduced doesn’t sit well with me at all considering how weak we are on crime anyway.
