Blinken says ‘decisive moment’ for Gaza ceasefire talks

Antony Blinken, The US secretary of state, was expected to arrive in the Middle East on Sunday night amid “cautious optimism” a deal could be reached to end the 10-month war in Gaza and avert a wider regional conflict.

Mr Blinken will meet Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, at 11am on Monday for ceasefire and hostage negotiations which are slated to continue in Cairo this week.

US officials say they believe a deal could be signed by the end of the week.

  1. Make sure no escalation or provocation like allocation of 20 billion in weapons to nation occupying and oppressing their neighbors. This is not for peace he's auditioning for whatever he is trying to do after Biden presidency. Not objective or honest broker

  2. Propaganda. They regected every ceasefire deal. Aipac lobbies against ceasefire. They just sent 'more weapons. They assassinated the chief negotiator. And American media continues to report unchecked lies and propaganda from israel. It's a sad world.
