Joao Felix is laughing, 11 years of job security off of an outstanding *half* season with Benfica in 2018/19. Contract until 2031.
I know it’s dumb but from the first moment I saw this guy at athletico you could feel he would end up here.
His stint wasn’t perfect but we were also ass. The club at the time also didn’t want a future with him so there was no reason to give him to many chances.
It’s quite clear he’s talented but the real concern is how many players we already have and the sad reality it came at the cost of Gallagher.
In 5 years when Chelsea go in to administration and Todd Boehly announces the news at a press conference wearing an Arsenal shirt, it’s going to be epic.
