Russian propaganda has spread fake accusations of Ukraine and the West of intending to detonate a dirty bomb and provoke a nuclear conflict, causing a new Chernobyl. This is not the first time the Kremlin has made such accusations, as Kremlin officials claimed a dirty bomb in 2022.
