  1. This was at Leazes Park, Newcastle upon Tyne – https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZUjTP9P467DTac7D9?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy

    The swans can get angry

  2. A trail of seed leading back to the shop and seed box would have been so much more rewarding.

  3. I feed the pigeons. I sometimes feed the sparrows too. It gives me a sense of enormous wellbeing.

  4. I see feral rock pigeons, a lesser black backed gull, a moorhen and… Uh oh…

    …2 mallard *ducks*

    Shame on you.

  5. I know your getting some hate but fuck it, as well as your enjoyed yourself. Looks fun

  6. A bit hate for pigeons here.

Heroes in the wars, we build cities on top of their homes, and now they’re labelled as rats with wings.

Diabolical behaviour from the British public.

  7. Feeding pigeons is one of the great simple joys in life.

I’ll never understand the general hostility to them, they are incredibly friendly and intelligent little birds.

  8. Pigeons are like rats with wings. They carry all the nasty diseases and scavenge on just about anything.

    From a quick Google:

Pigeons are the most unhygienic and messy birds and actually carry more diseases than rats. They nest on their poo and attract mites. Nearly all pigeons carry the bird mite – a tiny insect that feeds off the bird, but will also makes humans itch and scratch.
