The club aims to bring in a left winger and a right-back, but to do so, more departures will be necessary. Beyond Ansu Fati, whose exit the club is not expecting, the door could also open for a center-back to leave.

The two candidates are Andreas Christensen and Eric García. One of them will have to leave Barcelona in the coming days, and everything depends on the offers the club can gather, either in terms of savings or income from this operation.

Several clubs have made inquiries to Christensen , but he would only consider leaving if he received an offer from a top-tier project. So far, that hasn't happened. Barcelona would be willing to sell him for a minimum of 25 million euros, as his contract expires in 2026. His camp is aware of this possibility and is exploring the market.

  1. I hope not. He is young and solid. We need someone like him for sure, even as a starter when Araujo is injured.

EDIT: Iñigo was horrible last game, if that’s his standard then he shouldn’t start any important game (which is 95% of the games).

  2. Yes this is tier 4, but this would be a fucking terrible idea. Christensen is far better than Garcia has ever been at Barça, and is also a proven solid fill in at DM.

Club is making it very difficult to be a fan (of the men at least) lately.
