I was at that game, what a feeling it was to beat united back in those days. It’s still great obviously but back then it was so amazing as we were so rubbish and they were winning everything. Sinclair had a habit of scoring against United I think and Fowler was giving them the old four times hand gesture, regarding Liverpool cl titles.
Back then it was steady in the pl and beating United once was a good season.
