Ukraine to open humanitarian corridors in Kursk region • FRANCE 24 English

For more than a week, Ukrainian troops have pushed into the Kursk region of Russia, just north of their border, in the most extensive incursion by Kyiv’s forces since the start of the war in February 2022. On Wednesday, senior Ukrainian officials outlined plans to organise humanitarian assistance and evacuation corridors for civilians looking to go either to Russia or to Ukraine. “I think that Ukraine wants to pre-empt any attempt by the Russians to accuse them of war crimes or harming civilians,” said FRANCE 24 correspondent Gulliver Cragg, reporting from Ukraine. “They want to underline that they are … an army that respects international law.”

  1. Smart move by Ukraine to treat the Civilians with respect instead of destroying Homes, Hospitals, Schools and any valuable infrastructure like the Russians did .

  2. didnt even think of this aspect. going to need alot of suplies for those russsian refugees. united nations, where are you? nato, what you doing? people need food and suplies.

    that ukraine will control lol

  3. Russia is doing what? evacuees are not being relocated to other parts of Russia, But to Ukraine-controlled territory. Instead, they are being sent to areas under Russian occupation in Ukraine, such as the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. This suggests that Russia is attempting to consolidate its control over the occupied territories and relocate its own citizens to areas under its administration. The evacuations may also be intended to alleviate pressure on Russian military units and infrastructure in the Kursk region.

  4. The russians NEVER provided humanitarian aid AT ALL in Ukraine.
When they would report to "open" a corridor, they would shell it. Lyin' toilet thieves.
All they did was kidnap children and 'SA' men, women, and children (and recorded it on their cell phones).
