Inside ‘Concordia-style’ search for superyacht survivors as furniture blocks access to cabins

Fears are growing for the missing passengers of the Bayesian superyacht as rescue divers have reached the boat’s lounge.

The frantic search for six people has entered its second day with time running out on more surviving the shock sinking.

The £14million luxury vessel capsized on Monday after it was caught in a tornado off the coast of Porticello, Sicily.

Brit billionaire tycoon Mike Lynch, 57, and his daughter Hannah, 18, are among those still missing.

The clock is ticking with drivers trying to fight their way through blockages in the 50m deep wreck.

Furniture has made it impossible for the divers, who only have 10 minutes working at a time, to reach the cabins.

  14. He finally wins a 13 year long legal battle only to wind up on a sinking yacht… along with everyone who helped him win and even some who didn’t. 😮🤦‍♀️ No. This isn’t suspicious in the least. Life is just "funny" like that sometimes. 😳

  21. Not a single woman can be seen in the pictures of the missions. It would be nice if at least a few women would get involved in the interests of equality and emancipation and not just leave the difficult work to the men.
