I was very happy and grateful when I downloaded the pictures to my laptop, showing this young swimming legend looking straight towards my camera, with a reflection of the swimming pool – looking like butterfly wings – just at the right spot.
That’s either the fly or breast leg of the IM. If my memory serves me (I swam in college 30 years ago), it looks more like fly. If he was swimming breast, his head would probably be above water with his hands in that position.
