Ukraine hits third bridge in Russia’s Kursk, says buffer zone is final goal

Ukraine’s air defence units repelled Russia’s overnight air attack, including one on Kyiv, successfully destroying all 11 drones launched by Moscow, Ukraine’s air force reported on Monday. Moscow claims that Ukraine has struck and damaged a third bridge in the Kursk region as Kyiv’s forces attempt to expand their incursion into Russian territory. Russia’s Investigative Committee confirmed the attack on the bridge along the River Seym in Kursk. These attacks on the region’s bridges, occurring within days, are part of Ukraine’s cross-border offensive that began on 6 August. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on Sunday that the incursion aims to create a buffer zone to prevent further attacks by Moscow, particularly with long-range artillery, missiles, and glide bombs. The operation continued on Monday under strict secrecy.

  1. Russia is intentionally allowing Ukrainians deep into their territory and withing weeks the Ukrainians will be trapped. History tells us that Russians are most power full when foreign force go deep into their country.

  2. Truly paradoxical. Russian commanders diverted two brigades to form a buffer zone in the vovchansk area (gained aprox 60 km2) while Ukraine obtained a 540 km2 of buffer zone in kursk, that even gained countrol over civilian population. Zhukov must be trembling n his graveyard.

  3. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 wasted time, money, resources, energy and lives. Just to say he wants a buffet zone. Realistically could've negotiated that buffer zone away from the Russian border almost a whole three years ago. 😮😮😮😮😮😮 Ukraine is in big trouble

Look at these ukro-bots bruh 😂😂 they really think that kiev achieved something by demolishing 3 bridges, the main objective was to conquer Kursk Nuclear Plant, and they failed even before they started, they're stuck in their position now being bombed. The Frontline in ukraine is hundreds of miles long and Russians are advancing in all directions at rapid pace as even Washington Post affirmed.
