The last time he was in office, the Chinese ambassador apparently had a free reign of the Nepali government. And when his position was in danger, the Chinese were openly interfering in Nepali politics to save his government.
The Nepal Communist Party is split into various factions led by various leaders, and the Chinese wield significant influence with some of these factions.
As to how much of a scumbag and China simp the Prime Minister is, during Covid he tried blaming India for the Coronavirus, calling it the “Indian virus”.
