Bastard flew above my ear and scared the shit out of me while I was sleeping (3:30am of all times). I’ve never seen something like this in London, let alone my room. I’m chilling out from the nerves but wanted to double check if it was just a beetle or worst case; a cockroach?

r/whatsthisbug might help you faster and better than us, but it doesn’t look like a roach to me, it’s too dark. Probably just some kind of beetle.
