The image shows a T-90 tank, which would earn the soldier who destroyed it a reward of 400,000 UAH (£7,500).

  1. May God have mercy on us all.

In terms of economics, don’t we usually find this stuff occurring when there is a “surplus business” case, when you want to retain high value customers?

I’m reading this as “Ukraine has more supply than demand” so they are looking at higher value clients.

Capitalism in drone warfare, this is awesome (yet disgusting because people will die because of it).

    Budget airlines with bombs…

  2. This could get a little too dangerous and dramatic, that’s almost 10k USD for a tank?

  3. The work ethic in the teams is already inspiring to witness, injecting healthy competition amongst the units will be very productive.

  4. “Now with micro transactions, Get sick stickers and skins for your drones from $3.99” hahaha this is probably a good thing and might incentivize hitting expensive targets which probably come with more risk.

  5. This basically rewards the most successful pilots with additional ammo. It’s not cash handed out. If you kill a tank, you get a dozen additional drones. Rewards for luck and skill. I don’t hate it.

  6. I’ve heard about “game-ifying” things at work to make it more interesting but never thought I’d see this.

  7. I’m thinking that its good on paper, but it leads to shitty practices. I would assume Ukrainian motivation to destroy targets with drones would be very high already so why waste money like this and provide more unnecessary risks (like kill stealing or friendly fire)? Magyar is a businessman so he knows more about shit like this than me so I’m hoping there’s more behind the scenes than what is being shown.

  8. Originally I was on the fence with this one, but changed my mind as I typed it out. Target rich environments will benefit in general just because there are more targets. However, those units who are more skilled at taking out the Russians will be more heavily rewarded.

    Not a bad incentive.

  9. Incentivize the troops. Win a signed Magyar bobble head and t-shirt that says “I took out an S-400 missile system and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.”

  10. What if the enemy gets this. Laid mines and probably a lot more than my dumb ass can think of

  11. I wonder if Robert is trying to tap into the gaming psyche of the these young drone pilots. Reward points for hits. The more expensive the target the more points awarded.

  12. So can we please widen the pool of participants to world wide? Willing to relocate to western Ukraine.

  13. 360 turret pops on tanks receive UAH 1,000,000+UAH 10,000 for every 100 meter the turrets rises.

  14. There should be online betting on what group makes the most kills; some percentage goes to the Ukrainian army it would be a nice new service for gamblers.

  15. Gonna be interesting playing the training si-I mean historical video game of this in ten, twebty years.

  16. The world we’re developeing is ffing horrible, but imma stay for the show🥲

  17. Gamification of war against the Russians! I love it! Anything to further punish the aggressors…

  18. Madyar. I’ve seen this mistake a lot and I can only assume it’s because a cursive д can be written in a way that resembles a Latin g.

  19. Bringing capitalism to the battlefield… Brilliant idea. Sorta like collecting Starbucks Points…

  20. “I did the math – if I pop three douchebags on dirt bikes or one Chinese Golf Cart I’ll have enough points for the T-shirt with Monkey Putler from r/NonCredibleDefense!”

  21. Orc value in Russia= sack of onions, Orc value in Ukraine= new drone. Seems legit!
