1. How do you boil an empire? Slowly, very slowly turn up the heat, until it’s to late.

2. Ukraine already damaged 2 ferries putting them out of service during the last 3 months. Clearly it reduced the capacity. Yet there is no indication of fuel shortage in Crimea. So I doubt destroying this ferry makes the situation critical for Russians. It will make transporting fuel and other things much more expensive for sure, but Russia still has money to throw.

   Perhaps it will tempt Russia to use the bridge again for rail transport which Ukraine can attack with drones then.

4. Any chance, Ukraine might offer a surprise tomorrow? Ukraine will be celebrating their day of independence, August 24th.

   I do not want to write anything to jinx it.

5. Any ideas on the extent of these attacks do to the Russian supply? Are they going to have missions fail because support runs out of fuel? Will they have tank captured without a fight?

   How about the impact on fuel for farmers? Will they be able to make their obligations to their own people and China?

   How about heating? Last year a Russian war hero froze to death in his bed and there were ice waterfalls in the corridors of buildings before Russias stock of fuel became a target.

7. Nice. I didn’t realize how important the strike on the ferry was. I’m guessing the other land rail into Crimea from Kherson is being watched carefully too for an ideal target to blow up.

   It seems that the fires are spreading at the Proletarsk oil depot too. A wildfire is now spreading and has already burned down 6 houses in the city.
