For years I’ve only bought clothes made in Europe. It’s not always possibly, but I try my best.
When in comes to Finnish brands, Varusteleka Särmä merino wool clothes are pretty great value for money. Also, The Other Danish Guy underwear.👌

I ofcourse only buy from famous Swedish retailers (so made in Bangladesh).
I used to buy a lot of clothing from a Spanish brand called El Ganso, since their clothes tended to be made in Portugal, Spain and Italy. But the last few years they slowly moved all their production over to China. Bastards.
Tried to collect labels from different European countries, but most of my stuff is made in England.

Since I’ve been accused of bashing PIGS. Here’s something for you. Pretty solid sneakers. I have three pairs.
As a true European, I get my clothes made by child labourers in an ex-colony
Aero leathers in Scotland and I absolutely will die on that hill.
Clothing brand from my country? When I was at the unemployment office they told us that anyone with education or work experience in textile industry is considered unemployable and will be provided with choice of reeducation at states expense.
No chance. I only buy proper [European](https://i.imgur.com/n9Gy99w.jpeg) brands.
Expensive clothes I buy are almost always Italian. Recently bought a some pants from Borelli really like those.
For cheaper casual stuff I like Spanish stores like the Zara. But to be honest most of the stuff I buy is from random local stores no fucking idea where these clothes come from.
Just now wearing a Sorbino polo bought at half price at summer sales (got to optimise the expenses of the money we PIGS get) and checked, it’s made in Bangladesh.
I would if I was able to afford it.
Do you really think that they did more in Europe than stitch the label on?
You had me at trickers.
If you are an outdoors person i recomend buying a Greenlandic anorak(annoraaq). Especially if you do sailing/kayaking. We are simply the best at making them. Unfortunatly if you want one made of seal pelt i think you have to go up here, because laws and stuff.
We have multiple brands.
I would love to buy more stuff from small indipendent european producers but its hard because measures are all over the place and I dont want to send so much back everytime something doesnt fit right
Pathetic. I make my own clothes from the wool of sheep and hide of cows on my neighbours farm.
I’m magnanimous enough to stimulate developing economies, primarily Bangladesh.
I buy things off street markets or in resource stores, so it’s all made in China or Bangladesh. But it’s most certainly second hand.
From Poland i like Zack Roman and Dąbrowski & Góral.
From Italy, Velasca, Scarosso, Cucinelli, Boggi
Probably the majority if I’m honest.
Love my Magee stuff though
I buy my shit at C&A
I think the only thing I own that’s made in Europe are my trusty Lederhosen. Oh, and my Doc Martens, thanks Barry.
Depends….Hey Barry! Do you still own Bangladesh?
I get my clothes from G star
varusteleka👍
I love Varusteleka from Finland. Most of their stuff is made in Estonia.
Yeah, because I don’t care about brands. But my favourite Icelandic brand is Kormákur & Skjöldur
Same way I bought my glasses today which are violently British if you look at the packaging. Except the “made in Korea” part.
some of my Zara are made in somewhere Turkey, maybe maybe Europe. Mirto is my go to local brand.
Solovair boots are the original doc martins, and while doc martins the brand is pretty shit now solovair still make decent shoes.
It honestly pisses me off buying clothes that are too expensive and seing they are made in shitholes… that’s not counting brands that don’t even show where they are made, like Lacoste polos.
e9 makes amazing pants and they are entirely made in Italy. Not my own country but that is as close as I get.
Old Barbour before they shifted production elsewhere was good, real gem if you can find one in good condition back from the made in the UK days. For outdoor kit, buffalo systems, still made in Sheffield. Barry is still relatively good at the high end stuff, like boots (John Lobb) etc.
I wish I could buy European made clothes only, but I’m from the Balkans, ain’t nobody got money for that.
The vast majority of my clothes are made in Portugal, Italy, England or Japan. So spiritually all European.
My mother knits me way more clothing that I can reasonably wear, does it count as shopping in Europe?
I get a new barbour jacket every few years. I walk like 10km a day so slowly annihilate them. Love how cosy and heavy they feel.
I always buy blankets from Johnston of Elgin the double sided ones are lush. As its their cashmere jumpers. Crockett and Jones shoes.
Not British but I have loads of Shoeffel stuff for hunting and skiimg. Apparently they have a factory in Ukraine now.
Don’t lie, we know you all buy from Inditex or H&M.
European designs, colony manufactured.
