He’s mainly disoriented due to his rampant dementia.
I think part of it is that Harris is doing her own thing. Sure, she talks about Trump, but she’s not really engaging with him and responding to his prompts beyond “we’ll that was weird”. For Trump, this denys him control and it’s frustrating him.
