Russian invasion prioritises ‘real, true independence’ for Ukrainians • FRANCE 24 English

On August 24, 1991, the Ukrainian parliament, the Rada, voted for independence, an approval that was confirmed in a referendum months later by an overwhelming majority of Ukrainians. For a while, there was a debate on whether Independence Day should be marked on the date of the referendum or the parliamentary vote. Reporting from Kyiv, FRANCE 24’s Gulliver Cragg notes that many Ukrainians feel that “the moment of their real, true independence is now with this war, because clearly Russia was not willing to let go of its influence over Ukraine”.

  1. West, Us, European and nato wants Ukraine doesnt negoitiate or make peace with Russia Because if Ukraine negoitiate Their arms industry will be down, they want their arms weapons industry to flourish through these wars. They make Ukraine believe that they can defeat russia but the reality is Ukraine cannot defeat russia anyway, if russia wants they can quickly end this war or Make quick results but they are not doing tht because russia sees Ukraine as their part like previous soviet nation, so they will not do tht.
