If he was instrumental to the Kirsk campaign, he completely deserves this.
Meaning a full general, the highest tier of general in the UA armed forces. Previously he was a Colonel-General (equivalent to a Lieutenant General or ~~OF-10~~ OF-8 in most Western countries), the second highest rank.
Are there other generals in the army? Isn’t it a bit strange for the commander in chief to have lower rank than the people he commands?
