Kursk Zelenskyy misadventure ground to a screeching halt and caused staggering Ukrainian losses (troops are completely exposed to Russian air-strikes and drone-strikes outside of defensive positions), but Ukrainians are stuck. Erratic Zelenskyy is obsessed with media hype, Syrsky is obsessed with his career (keeping his position even for one more week is more important for him than lives of all Ukrainian soldiers put together). Both are just reinforcing the failure as they did in Bakhmut, Krinki or a publicly announced failed Zelenskyy offensive in 2023.
