  1. Ukraine needs to become a protestant nations e.g. Lutheran, anglican or presbyterian, so it can distant itself from russia and lines with the western world.

  2. The Ukrainian authorities have every reason to construe The Moscow Patriarchate as a hostile organisation and, as a consequence, outlaw its activities, and the activities of all of its subsidiaries, on the territory of Ukraine.

The number and the character of Patriarch Kirill's public pronouncements and actions, of themselves, offer a sufficient basis for such a decision.

The Moscow Patriarchate has gone far beyond passively acquiescing in Russia's aggression against Ukraine's sovereignty. It seeks to buttress, extend and radicalise the ideology of aggression through recourse to religious justification. It is precisely the religiously-anchored nationalism of The Moscow Patriarchate which forms the bedrock of the so-called 'Russian World' and 'Historically-canonical territories', as well as other key mantras of the Putinist regime.

The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, Bartholomew, has recently provided an unambiguous condemnation of the depth of distortion of the Christian message, by The Moscow Patriarchate.

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, even though it has dropped the Russia-affiliated suffix to its name, has not in any way changed its pro-Russian orientation. From the standpoint of Orthodox canon law, it remains subordinate spiritually and administratively, to the Patriarch in Moscow, so long as it continues to pray for him during its liturgies. There are canonical pathways for the Ukrainian Church to leave Moscow's jurisdiction in every way, once and for all, but thus far, it has failed to avail itself of them. Until it does so, Ukrainian authorities have legitimate grounds to view its activities on Ukrainian soil as hostile.

    Sincerely yours,

    bishop Vincent Berg.

  3. Ok, so there's no opposition political Partys allowed, no oppositional press, and now they're banning a church with a long history in Ukraine. But they're a liberal democracy we should support, they say.

  4. Russia and Orthodox church has pushed bans on other peaceful religions. So Russia should not be crying over this. Cant be Hypocrites. And im No fan of this or any wars against Russia or any other countries.

  5. Some expert views of the potential of that Russia will switch its SMO in Ukraine into full scale of war in connection with Ukraine's attack on Kursk. Russia could destroy all bridges and dams over Dnipro river in order to cut off and bothering Ukraine's military logistics chain of supply to the frontlines.

  6. "Russia-linked Orthodox Church" it used to be the same country, how could they NOT have ties to Russia?! it's ridiculous, they want to create their own church completely under state control.

  7. zelensky decided to ban the canonical Church. He goes against the ukrainian people. zelensky's political " church" has nothing to do with ukrainian people. zelensky has destroyed Ukraine.

  8. Obviously Ukraine has abondoned the idea of reuniting with Eastern Ukraine otherwise they would not treat their religious and cultural heritage with such distain. I wouldn't wonder if people of Pokrowsk, Sloviansk and Kramatorsk would now rebel against a West Ukrainian regime that coninues in a path that started the civil war in Eastern Ukraine ten years ago. Another selfdefeating move by Zelensky that will backfire internationally and internally.

Zelensky gives Putin another big boost and the Western cheerleaders of Ukraines selfdestruction are applauding!
