  1. Yeah, no. I bet there will be no high level participation from India.

    The Indian cricket team itself is not going to Pakistan to take part in the upcoming Champions Trophy, which is a tournament involving the top 8 cricket teams.

    India will skip participation or use it’s influence to move India’s matches to a more neutral location in Sri Lanka or Dubai.

    In such a situation, there is no way Modi is going to Pakistan.

    India’s policy has been to ignore Pakistan and let them stew in the extremism and economic mess that is their own making. Talking with Pakistan has never worked because you end up talking to a puppet, while the real power lies with their military industrial complex. They have too much to lose to normalise ties with India.

    Instead, Modi has been focusing on our side of the border, strengthening our position in Kashmir and building counter terrorism and intelligence capabilities.
