  1. That’s just a clever distraction technique they’ve learned. There’s a sparrow behind you nicking your wallet.

  2. That is gorgeous. My favourite birds and they’re so trusting when they’re fed by humans.

  3. They are always such friendly wee things and always make you smile! Anytime I’m digging anything you always seem to get one appears to see if you uncover any goodies for it!

  4. What cheese did you use? I’m more than happy to reproduce this for science

  5. A baby robin perched on the chair next to me in a garden centre restaurant yesterday. They’re such lovely little birbs.

  6. You’re in his territory, so that’s his food, and you’re lucky he’s letting have a little bit!

  7. Fair to say he’s robbin’ your lunch.

    I’ll get my coat.

  8. Pretty privilege. These russet fucks are vicious bullies who torment anything small enough.

  9. Robins are so friendly. Years ago my grandad used to have one hanging around while he was gardening. It gave him a shock by jumping on his back one day!

Pied wagtails are bold little birds too. I had one running around under my seat outside a cafe one day. They like going after crumbs.

  10. Those Robins are so cute they can have all of my food

  11. The sparrows in France are cheeky like this, and they’re everywhere… Think the French must cull their pigeon populations or something.

  12. Looking at the plumage it may be a juvenile, perhaps not as cautious as it should be.

  13. Ahhh they’re so lovely. I found out recently that robins CAN live for a decade, but they’re so heavily predated and so short of food they rarely make it much past a year 😕. Let the wee fella share your lunch
