  1. You can’t expect teachers to be perfect didacts, and nurses, and psychologists, and life coaches, and clerical machines. I was a teacher for 7 years and it’s just biology that you’ll get burned out. Just suspend them and let the parents do their part. If not, tough luck. Teachers are human too, and you can’t pin on them the responsibility to motivate every single student and follow-up individually until they’re successful.

    At some point, it’s on the students too. If you want to be a little shit and fail/get suspensions, that will happen. If you want to take advantage of school resources for yourself, that will happen too.
