Jack offers a feeling of control no matter where he’s at and I love how he presses defensively and usually smartly. But tbh, I didn’t even notice this stuff and I feel bad cuz I saw this stat and had to ask myself, “Really?”
Goes to show how unnoticed it really goes, even for a guy who enjoys his game.

they think what he does is basic, easy and boring. but they dont know other wingers dont have the courage or the patience to do what he does, which something that at the time was needed for the system to thrive. ball retention wingers. high workrate wingers. i too am forever backing grealish, same with doku, savio, bernardo, bobb, foden(although i want him centrally), all those guys!
Love to see more of him this seasonđź’™
Jack brings control. We need him against high powered European sides who can absolutely punish us on the break and hit back the second we get over extended. Love Doku who is improving but he loses the ball a lot and isn’t as accurate in passing so it leaves us exposed.
