I find it baffling how people think that undoing 14 years of managed decline is an overnight thing.
If folk don’t get the usual, 1p off fags and Carling, all hell’s going to break loose.
Hopefully no worse than what the Tories have done.
Oh, this’ll be fun. Parents already lost their winter fuel allowance and Mum got a tax bill (she’s only on the state pension and is furious). Yes, the latter is the Conservatives’ fault but it’s one thing after another at the moment. Personally I expect to be shafted but I wish they’d leave my parents alone.
