Anything to draw attention away from the human rights nightmare that is the Saudi royal family.
Good for them, and they have the money for it.

Why is this news? This is about Tokyo 2021
They should follow Bangladesh, never won anything, never will, doesn’t even bother with 200 mil population.
The title is badly worded. Giving silver/bronze medals winners rewards and incentives is normal in most countries, and it’s actually good to encourage athletes to improve their performance for next games.
