I wouldn’t say we have the best defense in terms of actual players, but what we do have is a very strong defensive system under Inzaghi that is hard to break down. With this defensive system, any average defender should do well. Just look at how Onana went from looking like one of the best in Europe with Inter to nearly average at Manchester United. Acerbi looks like one of the best defenders in Europe in our system, but I can guarantee he would look average in any other team.
Real Madrid’ s defence is the best in the world. We have a good overall team and, in particular, we have a really organized and strong defence. But to be the best you have to win the champion’ s league in my opinion.
It’s certainly the more organized but some teams have better individual talents.

Depends, I’d say Pavard and Bastoni are world class (Rudiger, Ruben Dias, Gabriel, Bremer) and Acerbi is a tier below world class (Todibo, Konate, Tapsoba, De Ligt), with De Vrij being just good.
I would say there’s no world where we aren’t at least the second best in the world, only thing that holds us back from being genuinely generational is Acerbi/De Vrij and Dumfries.
Our CCBs are too old, I’d say they are good but not top tier.
