“doom for humanity’s future” might perhaps be overstating things a little. Whatever happens there will still be people, civilisation, society and modern technology in one hundred and five hundred years.
Which isn’t to say that a stable climate isn’t the most important thing we should be fixating on.
The economy is doing great though.
Not for everyone, just for those who own the economy. For everyone else it sucks.
