  1. Processed Meats seems to have a large “Other” contribution, as do Beverages; what are some examples of contamination that aren’t any of the other categories?

    It might be interesting to see it without the allergen component, as arguably that’s more often a labeling problem than a contamination problem in the usual sense.

    It would be interesting to see some sort of similar data for the US, or other fairly first-world places, to see what is similar and different. For instance, anecdotally the US had quite a few large scale incidents of pathogen-contaminated vegetables and salads (lettuce and spinach seem particularly vulnerable, and cucumbers recently), usually due to contaminated water being used for irrigation or washing; the UK seems to not have that issue.
