Cast your vote (day 10) : best quality goal (not by importance)

A win for the iconic treble kit yesterday. What is the best quality goal you’ve ever seen for city? Not importance wise (so, not 93:20 for example) but sheer quality.

  1. Honestly we have so many to choose from…Rodri against Bayern, Kompany against Leicester, Kevin against Madrid, Toure against Sunderland, Foden last season, Gundo in the FA Cup final, and so many more.

But I think Kompany has to be the answer, right?

  2. Haaland v Dortmund

From the outside of the foot cross to the leaping volley. Absolute quality.

  3. How is this not???? “Manchester City are still alive here. Balotelli. Aguero. I swear you’ll never see anything like this ever again. So watch it, drink it in.” It just has to be it.

  4. Well it would appear my choice for third kit 09-10 did not win

  5. “best” is subjective. with that being said, it has to be Aguero’s 93:20. it forever changed man city’s future outlook and impacted the club in both tangible and intangible ways

  6. 93:20 or Kompanys screamer against Leicester. “I didn’t come this far in my career to be told when to shoot”

  7. Aguero has like 10 different goals that literally no other striker in the world could have hit. Either dribbling through 6 guys and slotting it in, blasting it from 35 yards out or scoring from the goal line while falling out to of bounds 😂.

But yayas goal where he dribbled from one end to the other while shoving everbody off him and then scoring is also a good one.

Kompanys banger from outside the box.

Any shot Kev takes from outside the box is a beauty.

But let’s be honest balotelli scoring with his shoulder… that’s the one

  8. Agüero. Forever. Followed closely by Rodri for our 1st Champions League win…! Oh … and Dickov … oh .. and Kompany… Hmmm… not that easy!

  9. Not to mention title winning moments, Tevez free kick against vs stoke comes to mind

  10. Quality-wise, I can think of few better than Aguero v Liverpool where he chips Pepe Reina from a very acute angle while falling backwards

Honourable mention for the Elano free kick v Newcastle

  11. I’ll go for Kevin De Bruyne’s goal vs Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, 1:1 1st leg champions league semi finals

  12. KDB banger at the Bernabéu in the semis of the treble season. It was both absolute screaming quality as well as the weight of the moment

  13. Might seem random but the 2016 away vs bournemouth goal where the ball never seems to hit the ground: Aguero pops the ball to David who’s on a cutting run in the box but then David hackey sacks the ball mid-air to on rushing kdb who side foots it home. It was all our best players acting unselfishly but at the same time expressing insane skill…idk. (It’s probably Elano vs Newcastle tbh)

  14. I know it’s probably cliche, and probably been said a million times already but the Aguero 93:20 will forever be my favorite goal. Kompany’s thunder cunt of a shot against Leicester and Gundo’s goal 26sec inti the FA cup are runners up.
