what do you MEAN the paralympics won’t be fully shown on NBC???

i think it’s shit that nbc won’t show the full paralympics, tbh i was looking forward to 2 more weeks of straight up competition and primetime in paris 💀 they said it would be shown on USA and Peacock, but i thought NBC would be included in “Peacock” but i damn was i wrong

I’m surprised it’s on at all
There is just far less interest in the Para games among the general public, so i can’t blame NBC.
NBC is showing everything on Peacock which IMO is great coverage. I watched the Olympics mostly on Peacock too.
USA and CNBC are showing a lot of the events in the daytime
you’ll be able to watch on their YouTube channel for free, as well
I set my DVR to record USA network during the day and will create my own prime-time experience.
NBC didn’t show the “full” Olympics either. They showed highlight reels of the events Americans win a lot of medals in.
Most of it was on Peacock. I assume that will remain the case.
NBC has an obligation to its shareholders to show programming that will draw the highest ad revenue possible. Perhaps, what should have been done is for the Paralympics to have been auctioned off separately from the Olympics, perhaps to PBS, which has a more public service role.
