UK and Germany pledge ‘unyielding’ support for Ukraine

Sir Keir Starmer and Olaf Scholz have said the UK and German continue to have “unyielding” support for Ukraine.
Speaking at a joint news conference in Berlin, the PM said Ukraine is not just fighting to defend itself from Russian aggression but also “for all the people across Europe”.
Mr Scholz, the German chancellor, said both countries would continue to lend “financial, economic, political and military support” for “as long as this is necessary”.
Allow the use of long range weapons, stop with your cowardness…. Your fear of Russia is costing lives in Ukraine.
He actually means 50% of what he says here. Look at what is given, not what is said. Cause it differs
Woe betide you if you don’t stand by your words, Scholz.
Germany and UK both have given a lot of support to Ucraine sofar. Respect 👍
Then give the Taurus and free range to target anything inside Russia

“Unyielding support”? Not even a month ago, Olaf Scholz was casting doubt on continuing the same amount of support for Ukraine stating national elections and a state debt as main reasons. You can promise the support all you want for however long, but imposing limitations on Ukraine’s capabilities to strike back will not make the war go over quicker. Give Ukraine what it needs and stop flipflopping. The West honestly has to step up its game.
They’re clearly yielding on giving Ukraine the support to end this war.
I understand slow-boiling the frog is an effective strategy.
But that doesn’t deter China. And that doesn’t save innocent children in Ukraine.
“Unyielding”, translation – 0.1% of GDP per annum
At least until things become too “uncomfortable.”
Crazy to think these 2 countries were mortal enemies during WW2, now lock step unison fighting against authoritarianism!
This is good, and should demoralize Russia to further continue the pointless war
