I’d love to hate on it. But at that price and a rumored pay cut it’s hard to bash this. There are some pretty bad players that cost more than this. Even if he’s a massive flop the risk is pretty low.
He should do ok! Also that ten million fee is just like 100k in footballing world a decade ago.

If he is coming in to be cover for Salah and with a lower match load this might be the perfect move for him.
He’s a salah back up and will play around 20-25 games. For that price it’s perfect.

Started 25 and played in 33 of a possible 38 league games last season. Total of 2207 minutes, for refenece Trent played 2159 but was still instrumental for Liverpools season.
Seeing as he’s 6th choice forward that’s plenty to be optimistic about and he’s worth potentially double what they paid as long as he’s got over 2a year left on his contract.
