  1. Note: This list only includes songs released in the 2020s decade

Data gathered from Spotify, graphed using Google Sheets, graphic made using GIMP

    Honorable mentions:

Kill Bill by SZA – 2.02 Billion Streams
MONTERO by Lil Nas X – 1.94 Billion Streams
    Mood by 24kGoldn – 1.91 Billion Streams
Dynamite by BTS – 1.91 Billion Streams
Kiss Me More by Doja Cat – 1.89 Billion Streams

Probably going to be posting these for every decade if enough people are interested

  2. Given how prominent she is in the media, I’d have expected Taylor Swift to be all 10 of these. What gives?

  3. Bad Bunny is a dude? I’ve heard of the “name” before but I just assumed it was a chick.

  4. You could’ve given me 5 guesses which Harry Styles song would be #1 on this list, and I would be wrong 5 times.

  5. I know heat waves was all over the radio but seeing glass animals on this list still surprises me

  6. Where does one learn about these new songs? I presume it is no longer the radio or MTV.

I recognize about half the names but know none of the songs.

  7. I know I’m old when I’ve not heard of 3 of these people, don’t know any of these songs, and would likely only recognize 1 if I heard the song, only because of Miley’s distinctive voice.

  8. I hate learning that my least favorite song of the last 10 years is also the 2nd most popular of the decade so far 🙁

  9. Most of these songs are popular because of TikTok.

Bad Bunny sings in spanish that’s why most of you haven’t heard of him.

  10. I feel like a fucking fossil. I come Reddit everyday, read about pop culture and there are some names there that I have never seen, let alone heard. Feels bad.

  11. I by myself am probably responsible for 500 million of Industry Baby streams lol I listen to it all the time – on repeat

  12. I’m assuming Blinding Lights isn’t on here because it was released in November 2019, right?

  13. At first thinking Spotify is for high schoolers and not representative, a Google search revealed that my beloved Pandora is hardly relevant anymore.

  14. Wow, I do not know a single one of those songs. I knew I was out of touch with pop music but I didn’t know it was that bad.

  15. I honestly never understood why people loved Driver’s License so much for it be widely streamed. Whenever my friends had it on, someone would crack a joke saying “damn, you good??”

I can see it being popular, but not Top 10 Most Streamed on Spotify popular. The rest of the songs mostly make sense to me.

  16. Hey guys I’m a unique Redditor with intelligent tastes. I’ve not only never heard these songs, but also don’t know who any of those artists are😂

Feels good not be a sheep🤷

This generation is doomed because they listen to music I don’t like.
