Given how prominent she is in the media, I’d have expected Taylor Swift to be all 10 of these. What gives?

You could’ve given me 5 guesses which Harry Styles song would be #1 on this list, and I would be wrong 5 times.

I know heat waves was all over the radio but seeing glass animals on this list still surprises me

Where does one learn about these new songs? I presume it is no longer the radio or MTV.
I recognize about half the names but know none of the songs.
I know I’m old when I’ve not heard of 3 of these people, don’t know any of these songs, and would likely only recognize 1 if I heard the song, only because of Miley’s distinctive voice.

I hate learning that my least favorite song of the last 10 years is also the 2nd most popular of the decade so far 🙁

I feel like a fucking fossil. I come Reddit everyday, read about pop culture and there are some names there that I have never seen, let alone heard. Feels bad.

At first thinking Spotify is for high schoolers and not representative, a Google search revealed that my beloved Pandora is hardly relevant anymore.

Heat waves is a very good song. Worth a listen if you haven’t heard many of these.
I honestly never understood why people loved Driver’s License so much for it be widely streamed. Whenever my friends had it on, someone would crack a joke saying “damn, you good??”
I can see it being popular, but not Top 10 Most Streamed on Spotify popular. The rest of the songs mostly make sense to me.
