Too young I’d say. They were always around in the 90’s. Always against the walls and we were never allowed to use them.

From what I remember, I only used it twice.

“The Apparatus” was a standard fixture in all primary schools. It only came out when there was some obscure celestial alignment event.
And I’m 60 and poor.
We had one PE teacher who would pull this gear out but was strict as to what was going to happen, one at a time and he spotted it all like hawk which was bit boring but im alive and learned how to climb a rope. He would do backflips into cartwheels when asked though so that was great.
Had one of these bad boys in our school in the 80s, some of my earliest memories were climbing the rope bit in just my pants.
Climbed that in dirty undies ad I forgot my p.e kit.
We use the apparatus, the kids love it
Can’t be that young or poor, I was a poor 00s kid and we had this at my school.
