  1. Who left it like that? Someone did that, looked down and said ‘yup, job done, time for a cuppa’, and walked away.

Particularly, how could they paint the bicycle without thinking ‘hang on a minute’.

  2. You could just share the lane with cars until you get past the car? It’s not like every road has a designated cycle lane?

  3. Doesn’t matter what the paint job is, we all know that it will be used for range rover parking anyway.

  4. I’ve got downvoted to hell so many times on this sub for pointing out how unsafe it is (nevermind thefts) and the never ending half assed infrastructure in Manchester. Also sneakily shamed for not cycling to work despite a disability, not a single storage for bikes nor showers at my office doesn’t help.

  5. Guy with the red paint clearly fucked off for a coffee break after 10 minutes work. Guy that draws the bicycle isn’t paid enough to care whether all the red paint is down yet before doing his job

  6. Haha! I live right round the corner from there.

This is outside the brand new smaller coop, which opened immediately next door to the old bigger coop.

Seems even the cycle lanes can’t escape shrinkflation.

  7. By chance, is the parking at certain times? The single yellow suggest at least at some times there should be a clear way there

  8. Is the fresh black tarmac another lane or pavement? Reminds me of the City where they extended pavements for social distancing, but it looks more like the road so few use it.
