BREAKING: Ukraine launches second incursion in Russia | Philip Ingram

“The Ukrainians are going to try and take over a ‘buffer zone’ inside Russia along its northern boarder. That will probably equate in size to the amount of territory that the Russian’s are holding in Ukraine.’

Ukraine has launched a new attack on Russia’s border in the Belgorod region. Former British military intelligence officer Philip Ingram brings us the latest on this breaking story.

  1. that the Ukrainians did this is incredibly impressive, clearly using all forms of conducting warfare they can, combat, logistical but also politicial; it seems to me the Russians thought these regions safe due to how worried NATO is about escalating the conflict whereas the Ukranians are fighting a war for their very existence as a nation and correctly see these regions are legitimate targets. And certainly With the devasation in the East part of the country caused by Russian military activity, it can surely only be reasonable for Putin to agree to return to the original post Crimea border. The alternative is that we see completely useless loss of life, both Ukranians as as well as useless Russian deaths as well as the West getting to test all their kit against Russian kit for the next year while being able to get rid of old stocks and revitalise NATO military production. There just isn't a situation where Putin comes out on top here; and the most sensible thing he could do is exchange the territories and go home.

    The Ukranians clearly have some excellent strategic thinkers in control, coupled with NATO tech and a strong intrinsic culture. Russia has force them to turn from a strong people into a galvanised people, I have nothing but respect for the Ukranians and disdain for the Russian government who caused this useless war, forcing several Afghanistan levels of casualities on their own people.

  3. Ukraine had better stop with war and seek peace, American citizens are fed up spending billions on this false adventurism. We are fed up paying for the entire economy of Ukraine including salaries and pensions. They will not be able to spend any money soon after Putin takes out all Ukraine power, transportations and water systems. Ukraine had better sue for peace now.

  14. Many have questioned this move. But its brilliant. putin will not give territory in donetsk and luhansk
    back. Even with Ukraine bolstering units in those areas with manpower from the Kursh offensive units Russia would always creep forward.
    Ukraine 1. Showed the world they can take the initiative with manuever warfare 2. captured territory, 3. politically embarrassed putin to his people and theworld and 4. put the russians off balance.
    well worth it.

  21. The idea is to use the Russian territory to force Vladimir Putin to the negotiating table to end the Russia Ukraine war once & for all.

    As part of the negotiations it will be Zelenskyy saying to Putin what do you want we keep what we have or you give us or lands back & you give us ours back & pull back completely.

    Smart plan put Russia & Vladimir Putin under severe pressure to retreat & sign a legal binding peace deal.

  24. How is Zelenskyy going to hold on to any square inch without receiving any back up man power and supply, once he’s surrounded, all this is symbolic and a desperate move, it’s game over for Ukraine 🇺🇦 😢
