Top Ukrainian pilot killed when US-made F-16 fighter jet crashed
A top Ukrainian pilot was killed when a US-made F-16 fighter jet crashed, just weeks after the long-awaited planes arrived in the country, a Ukrainian military source told CNN. The Ukrainian Defence Forces do not believe pilot error was behind the incident, the source added. CNN’s Nick Paton Walsh reports. #CNN #News

From different corner information about Ukraine F 16 , I am failed to understand as whether Ukrainian F 16 was shot by Russian Forces or it was got crashed due to sudden death of pilot . As far as I remember this is for the first time during Russia Ukraine was that a F 16 has been shot by Russian Forces . How it became possible that Russian Forces shot F 16 . I am very much bothered from this incident , because Pakistan Air Force is only proud of F 16 and Indian Air Force is very much afraid of it .

One basic fact is that it was shutdown either by a barrage of Russian missiles and drones or by friendly fire from an Ukrainian Patriot Air Defense System in error
