FFP seems to be taking its toll. I think clubs need to now adjust their expectations of how much they can get for players. Napoli could be in deep shit for not selling Osimhen. They are paying him 11 mil a season and his price will only drop. I think a similar thing happened with Koulibaly. Could have got 70 mil but ended up with half that. Their owner seems way too stubborn. How do you'll think the new trend will impact football overall?

  1. Good. Hopefully the disgusting salaries will come down too. My club has been one of the primary drivers of that but I think our new management has turned a corner on that too.

So many players seem to have their performance levels drop off a cliff after getting that massive contest. Yes, Sancho and Rashford, I am looking at you two.

  2. Chelsea are single handedly propping up the system. I can only assume they exist inside an independent nation like the Vatican City, and the footballing bodies have no jurisdiction over them.

  3. I hope this deflates the prices a bit (before all of you come after me, yes, I know it’s their money and not mine) but in the last decade or so every player that has a half decent season costs 80mil. With a heavy heart I have to agree with that nutjob Owen, if you can run and do any other thing at least at an ordinary level not only do you have a great chance for a PL career but also your price will sky rocket

  4. The rich clubs still buy what they want. The poorer clubs have to sell there best players. A broken system.
