My friend worked on an internet speed test and leaderboard app. Curious to see what consumer internet speed data is like

1. The U.S. has some of the worst internet speed in the developed world, but we’re probably beating Pakistan or Zimbabwe.

2. 50mb/s, 83mb/s, 60mb/s, 93mb/s…

   Make it DL more data to get a more accurate avg.

3. It doesn’t do fast connections well.

   I get 900-950 anywhere else. 209 on that. While task manager shows no network traffic.

   This seems fake.

5. Speed test with a cap of 100/200mbps, in era where people use 10gpbs fiber.

6. Sorry – but this isn’t a good tool. It’s 1/4 of my typical speed.
