Sad that this hasn’t gotten much attention as this was an incredibly impressive run. The round of 16 match in particular was thrilling stuff. Very cool that someone who has been doing it for as long as he has finally gets his gold medal moment.

Watching him was amazing! And he seems like such a genuinely nice guy. So did the other athletes. It’s why I love the Olympics, all the athletes are out there supporting and cheering each other on even if they’re competing against each other.
I’m so happy for him! If anyone hasn’t read up on his backstory, I recommend it, he’s truly incredible. He mentioned this may be his last Paralympics due to hip issues so I’m ecstatic he was able to finally get his gold medal!
So I just watched the gold medal event. Couldn’t figure out how he releases the arrow, anyone know?
