  1. Is this one of those princess Diana had?
    (Please somebody recognise the reference)

  2. If it can withstand anti-tank mines, why aren’t tanks built from the same material?

  3. I have not seen any performance data on this design, but the performance of older flails has never been impressive. They get damaged or disabled too frequently, and are too expensive and slow to repair to be of much practical use, and fail to detonate a dangerous proportion of the mines they go over. They are helpful if you need to rush across a battlefield and are willing to sacrifice the flail in the process.

  4. Some mines might be big enough to damage the equipment. I wonder why they don’t have extension arms 10-15 meters ahead of the device ? The extension might get blown off, but could be replaced if the bulk of the robot were in good shape.

  5. It looks like a WW2 British Universal Carrier.

  6. They stack the mines I wonder how long this thing will last, looks good though.
